Genfest 2012: DAY 2

10:30 a.m. The program starts at SportAréna. Speeches, songs, choreography, in a variety of sounds, colors and movements, go through the metaphor of building a bridge: calculating, digging the mud, building the columns, finishing to build the bridge, going through the bridge.
Time-out: a minute of silence and meditation for the peace.
At 3:30 p.m. Presentation of the United World Project and launch of the United World Network, first step of the project.
Also the designated president of the Japanese Buddhist movement Rissho Kosei-kai Kosho Niwano, that, together with a delegation of this Buddhist movement from Japan, adheres to the project and greets the participants.
Finally, the expected speech of Maria Voce, president of the Focolare Movement, who uses Chiara Lubich’s words to invite everybody to bring to the world a “supplement of love”.
21:45 p.m. Flashmob in the Chain Bridge with the 12.000 young people present at the Genfest. Internet live streaming and connection through social networks.
“Look on high. Set your gazes far, it is there that you’ll find something certain that you can grab onto. Look to the Love that is God. He is the only One who doesn’t disappoint you. Place yourselves on his side, trying to see the world and things with his eyes and you’ll be firm pillars of new bridges upon which everyone will walk happy and secure, and others will follow you.”
