The GENFEST, through its Executive Committee, formally and fully adheres to the Guidelines for the Integral Safeguarding of Children, Adolescents and Vulnerable Adults of the Focolare Movement, which is promoting the event.

The Focolare Movement, through the Safeguarding Formation Commission, is committed to providing formation on the integral safeguarding of children, adolescents and vulnerable adults for Genfest participants and collaborators.

Fraternity creates closeness and personal trust and should not be used to harm others. For this reason, all participants, collaborators, and partners of GENFEST 2024 have the duty to create an atmosphere in which everyone, regardless of origin, culture, or age, is treated with respect.

During all three phases of the GENFEST, in all the environments where activities will take place, special attention will be given to the protection of individuals, with guidelines regarding protection policies and the prevention of abuse, as well as any measures to be taken in case of violations during the event.
