It all started within the Focolare Movement founded by Chiara Lubich in 1943 in Trent, Italy. Its great purpose was to build a more united and fraternal world, one big family despite diversity.

The Youth for a United World Movement is the youth expression of the Focolare Movement and has brought together thousands of young people from all over the world in the 11 editions of the Genfest since 1973. And in 2024, we will do the same here in Brazil!
